  1. Hi,

So, what in this presentation was about testing? BDD in the ways I have seen it used is about design. The part with testing comes before the code/script. Running a script is obviously checking, but of course that doesn’t mean *all* aspects of testing are missing; there will be result evaluation etc. It also doesn’t mean it’s not manual; it only means it’s not so manual as it might have used to be. Remember, the difference is about a degree, not about principle.

Anyways, just wanted to know a) how this was about testing and b) how the stuff if Timisoara is flying.

Thanks and have a good evening!

    Best regards,
    Jari

  2. It seems my comment was written in a rush and it sounds slightly offensive. That was not my intention. When I ask about “how this was about testing”, I mean, how testing was explained to be part of it and so forth.

Sorry if someone got confused. 🙂

    Best regards,
    Jari

  3. Hi Jari,

Nice to hear from you :). Your comment wasn’t in any way offensive. You have a very good thinking system and I wouldn’t want to censor it in any way. Please feel free to say what you think. This quality is rare in people these days.

Anyway, regarding the topic, maybe it’s not directly related to testing, but it interacts with our domain. BDD is a very discussed topic and people are curious about it. This presentation was made in Bucharest too, and people in Timisoara reacted and wanted to have this talk here.
So I have asked Andrei and he will do the presentation for us today, January 17, via video conference.

I hope this answers your question. I will tell you more after we have the meeting, or we can even arrange for you to participate if you want.

    Have a wonderful day,
    Alina 🙂
